Kimberly is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with experience practicing in Washington, Oregon, and the Midwest. Kimberly received her undergraduate degree from University of Illinois, and her Master’s in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis.
She has received trainings in acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, EMDR (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing), emotion-focused therapy, yoga informed psychology, ecopsychology and likes to use an eclectic approach based on her client’s learning style. She also enjoys collaborating with her clients on health and wellness goals. Nature, animals, music and movement are her go-to for healing and restoring.
Kimberly has worked in a variety of settings since graduating with her Master’s degree in 2014, including collegiate and primary schools, international rural settings, non-profit organizations and primary health care clinics.
She finds particular fulfillment in working with clients who are undergoing transitions in life and are challenged to find a new path forward. She has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, and is trained to support clients experiencing attachment trauma, chronic health concerns, and relationship stressors.
Kimberly chose this field because she feels that personal discovery is a lifelong journey that we all deserve, and she has been very inspired both by the people who have supported her journey as well as those that she has helped.
