Emily Sweeney (she/her), MA, LMHC, ATR, RYT-200

Emily Sweeney, is a masters level and nationally registered Art Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington. She provides individual therapy to children and adults ages 4+ virtually and in-person in Fremont (Seattle), Washington.

As a counselor and art therapist, Emily works with individuals from the perspective of honoring the whole body, mind and spirit. She has had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of different educational, mental health and community-based organizations. In 2016, she received her 200-hour yoga teacher training and frequently integrates mindfulness and somatic-focused practices into her work with individuals and groups.

Her approach to working with individuals and families is multimodal; creatively engaged, trauma informed, strength-based, culturally aware, and focused on the unique needs of each client.

Emily loves working with individuals across the lifespan and is honored to support clients from diverse backgrounds.

Beyond the therapy space, you can find Emily spending time outside - especially on the water, working with clay, enjoying time with friends and family (and her cats, Josie and Bella), gardening and foraging for mushrooms. Emily is especially interested in the healing power of nature (and plants, specifically), and frequently draws inspiration from the natural world in her work with clients.
